Hey Baby Preview

Sajid Khan’s directorial debut under most prestigious Nadiadwala banner, Hey Baby, is story of human relationships. Though the promo shows three mad cap guys trying to woo a babe - Vidya Balan, the story actually revolves around a 3 bachelors and a small baby

Three handsome Sydney bachelors Aroush Tanmay and Al - are having the time of their lives in Sydney. They flirt around, sleep around and have numerous ‘gorgeous’ conquests to their credit. Aroush’s (Akshay Kumar) only grouse in life is that there are so many women. So little time since he’s getting plenty of action in the nightclub where he works. If Tanmay (Riteish Deshmukh) has a blast playing Eddy Teddy at kiddy parties and playing around with the yummy mummies; then Ali - Al (Fardeen Khan) gambles for a living and grumbles that his biggest strength is his weakness for women!
They suddenly find their dating and mating rituals irreparably destroyed when a dimpled little roommate lands up on their doorstep - complete with her crib. Pacifier and dirty nappy, Aroush. Tanmay and Al know a thing or two about women; but when it comes to babies, they’re total zeroes and this bouncing bundle of joy is anything but joyous. But then Angel works her charm and before long, the three lecherous bachelors have been transformed into loving, caring fathers.
But beautiful Esha (Vidya Balan) will have none of it. She’s known heart break once and will do anything to avenge that betrayal. And if it means breaking the hearts of three men who’ve finally discovered they possess one - then too bad!
This movie will be acid test not just for Sajid Khan, but for all those moviegoers, who thinks they can make better movie than most of today’s directors by just watching regular Hollywood movies. Sajid is notorious of owning one of the biggest Hollywood DVD library in his own room. After trying Farah’s husband, the editor, Sirish with Jaan-e-maan (which flopped), Sajid Nadiadwala wanted to try yet another from the same family. Reportedly, the movie has been produced within 40 Cr. Rupees and uses high end special effects.

Chake De India review

Chake De India is, simply put, a very good movie.Shah Rukh has rid himself of the mannerisms; the dialogues are hard hitting yet simple and pithy;the issues addressed are topical and relevant… and let’s face it - we all like to be pleasantly surprised - how many of us really expect girls to team up and kick on an international scenario! The real stars are, without doubt, the girls. From Komal Chautala (screen name) to Preeti Sabharwal (screen name) to Bindiya Naik (screen name) to Vidya Sharma (screen name) - everyone has finely etched out characters that have been fleshed out deftly by Jaideep Sahni (Writer) and Shimit Amin (Director).

Shah Rukh is, at best, the torch bearer to this whirlwind force and his punch line never leaves your cognition - “Neeyat (intention) is enough to make a team”Besides sharing the elation of this motley crew of greenhorns upon winning the women’s World Championships, even the most strident critic is inexorably drawn to applaud the ‘male - bashing’ scene (no pun intended) at McDonald’s where the entire team realizes for the first time what it means to stand up for one another.Way to go Mr. Amin. Keep it coming.
I can assure you that the new, resurgent, intelligent India will lap up such movies with voraciousness!
