The AAG is really disappointing.AAG has no right to compare with classical movie sholay.To remake a movie that is not merely a box office hit rather than become a classic is real risk.Ram Gopal Varma realized the resale value SHOLAY but he forgotten that its a classic. It has a strong first half but the second half spoil the name of first half The story line up is same as that of SHOLAY ;but the impression made on pepole's heart will be different.
The big mistake he made in AAG is casting. Ajay Devagan(as heroo)& new comer Prashanth Raj (as raj) was rally foolish . But the roles done by Mohanlal & Sushmitha Sen were really fabulous . Heroo & Raj were get noticed by Narsimha (Mohanlal) because of there bravery. He use the two heros to catch the notorious criminal Babban Singh (Amitabh Bachchan)
Heero and Raj arrive in Kaliganj where Heero falls for the charm of a beautiful auto-rickshaw driver Ghungroo ( Nisha Kothari ) while Raj develops feelings for the grim widow Durga (Sushmita Sen). As Heroo & RAj make Babban Singh & his people to view there dead end ;the movie rolls up .The Mohanlal is the real hero in this movie .He takes the life of Babban Singh

The movie will give Mohanlal a new fame in bollywood.The keralite will enjoy the AAG better than any others . Because there superstar made a stunning perfomemce . Susmitha sen also made a good impact. The movie has some elements that can hit the box office .Lets hope a better movie from Ram Gopal next time
